Set in Nashville around experienced people like Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie), Doug Phelps (Kentucky Headhunters), Thane Shearon (Saturday Night Special Band ), Jack Pearson (ABB), Larry Goad and many more other good big names of the Southern music can be, this band excels in a very seventies Southern Blues Rock style, based on the Blues-Jazz feeling. Its flowing music can let appear Marshall Tucker Band atmospheres as well as Little Feat or even first-era Skynyrd ! An incontestable quality already noticed on A Good Excuse their former album, and that is confirmed today with this Nashville Swamp ! So this new story begins with a super Boogie Rock « Six Five Days » where the slide's omniprésence is a pure delight, it goes on with « That Ain’t Right  » where Jimmy Hall's famous blues harmo joins in, indeniably some very good blues rock ! No time to catch your breath and it starts again with renewed vigour with « Ain’t Lliving Long Like This » : still having a damn energy the elders!... Ha got it ...finally, it comes, the « Southern Ballad » (« Supply and Demand »), quiet simply magnificent, but how could it be different with such great musicians like that ! For me, what is a little embarrassing in this kind of project isd that like for the similar Brothers of Southland, the media fallout, that would be amply deserved, won't position this super band at the level it would deserve, but well, let's cross the fingers for it, and don't deny ourselves to appreciate this new album !
